FAITH AND ECOLOGY — WHAT WOULD JESUS SAY?
On Wednesday, May 14th following dinner which will begin at 5:15 with meat provided so bring your favorite vegetable, salad, bread or dessert.
I will be leading the program on the subject “Faith and Ecology — What Would Jesus Say?” Our faith history begins with the words of Genesis “In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth.” God then created all that inhabits the earth and the skies and the seas. God then gave mankind dominion over all he created to be stewards of it.

We will discuss how our stewardship has been and what Jesus would call us to do. What does it mean for the faithful to be green? Is there a theology of ecology and if so what does it tell us about how we are to oversee the gifts of God’s creation? These and other questions will be dealt with on Wednesday May 14th.
