Guideposts Report on Knit for Kids: They say — WE DID IT — Goal was 400,000 by the end of 2006. Thanks to you! A report complete with pictures is displayed on the Kiosk. Sweaters went to Iraq, others to the Northern Arapaho Reservation in Wyoming and the Blackfeet Nation in Montana.
The first 3 months brought in more than 18,000 knitted and crocheted sweaters. We are a close-knit family of caring volunteers and we look to welcoming you in our midst. Making a simple and colorful sweater is like reaching around the world and giving a child a hug. Give it a try — you might like it.
SUNDAY SCHOOL
It’s time to get busy again. Your sweaters are needed especially for the kids - and - a display in October. This display or mission—if you please—will be a good focal point concerning our part in our LOVE mission in the church. The NEGA Presbytery will be meeting at MPC in October and your sweater is needed for display purposes.

Sunday School Classes are in full swing. So invite your friends and join us! The Adult Class will begin a new series on the Gospel of John. We will be using materials along with the Bible. Classes begin at 9:45 a.m. Everyone is welcome.
